Just found out today that it was announced a few days ago that RJ Corman would be taking over the Nashville & Eastern Railroad and associated operations, which includes the Nashville & Western Railroad. The Nashville & Eastern is known for operation a solid fleet of four-axle Dash-8 power, while the Nashville & Western has a trio of B36-7s operating over it currently. The good news is that the NERR will likely retain its Dash-8 power, though I'm not sure if the NWR will retain the Dash-7s, or if RJ Corman will put some of their four-axle EMDs there to work that line. At least three people dead in Jackson County, AL, many more were injured across the Tennessee Valley. At least one confirmed tornado struck DeKalb County, AL, the weather radio transmitter in Huntsville, AL lost power, and several communities got destroyed. It got really bad here last night.
